  • The highest point of Zip 4 is 175 feet above the ground. It takes riders 1000 feet over Tamarack’s Upper Serenity Canyon.
  • Zip 5 brings zipliners up 100 feet to a viewing deck carefully integrated onto a gigantic Ponderosa Pine.
  • Zip 6 is a 450-foot line that takes riders straight into Serenity Canyon from off the Ponderosa pine viewing deck. From here, riders see the ground from an unobstructed 100-foot viewpoint.
  • The fastest of the group is Zip 7. Riders are sent to cross the Serenity ski slope, and land right beside a mountain biking trail.
  • Zip 8 is the final zipline and is roughly 580 feet long. It takes riders to a picturesque pine tree before it turns back toward a 50-foot suspension bridge and the group. Zip 8 is a quarter-mile hike along the north fork of Rock Creek.

What Guests Should Know

There are common points of confusion regarding ziplines. Here are the general rules for this particular zip line tour:

  • To use the zip line, guests must weigh between 85 and 275 pounds.
  • Visitors should be able to comfortably hike between the platforms without assistance.
  • For two people on the Zipline Canopy Tour, it takes approximately two hours and for eight people, it takes four hours.
  • Discounts are not offered to season pass holders, but there is a 20% discount for groups of 6 or more.
  • Sandals and flip-flops are not permitted. Guests must wear closed-toe shoes.
  • Guests should plan to bring extra water for themselves.

It is important to remember that zip line guests are not permitted to bring their own gear. The guides will have an extremely high-quality helmet, harness, and trolley for each guest. Guests will be safe.

Guests also don’t want to be caught unprepared due to a quick change of weather. Before the tour, it is suggested to check the weather forecast in order to dress and prepare accordingly. Lightweight backpacks are welcome. It is essential to wear shoes with good grip, a pair of hiking boots will be just fine.
